There’s a wealth of driving tips and advice that you can apply in your everyday life when you’re behind the wheel of a vehicle.

But the most important tip is to always drive in the way you would want other drivers to drive.

I used to have one pupil who would say ‘I meet myself coming the other way’.

What does this mean? You likely wouldn’t appreciate if other drivers pull out and cause you to break or swerve, nor would you appreciate having to guess which way a vehicle is turning because they aren’t using their indicators, or having a car driving too close behind you.

Always show other vehicles on the road the same consideration you would like them to show you, and you’ll be able to stay safer when driving.
