WHEN TO SIGNAL

Do you know when to signal when you’re in a vehicle? When moving off from the side of the road, pulling in to park or overtaking obstructions should you use your indicators? Yes, if there are any ‘eyeballs’ to see your indicator. This includes other drivers, riders or pedestrians.

Just remember that NO SIGNAL = GUESS WHAT I AM GOING TO DO NEXT? Assume that others will guess wrongly what your intentions are. The most common statement after an accident normally starts with ‘I thought that you were…’ If you make your intentions abundantly clear to anyone who could be around, then you are much more likely to avoid any such accident.
