VEHICLE CHECKS
It’s always worth carrying out vehicle checks when you get a new vehicle, but also before undertaking a long journey.
Before driving your vehicle you need to make sure that it is in a safe and roadworthy condition, that you have the correct valid licence, insurance, vehicle registration and current valid MOT certificate and that you have satisfied all the legal conditions before driving your vehicle on the road.
You should carry out regular vehicle checks of tyres, lights, oil, brake & clutch fluid and water levels.
