A helpful reminder ... of things to concentrate on when about to take your practical driving test

TELL ME SHOW ME

From 1st September 2003, ‘Tell Me Show Me’ questions became part of the practical driving test. The ‘Tell Me Show Me’ is an important part of the driving test, so you need to make sure you’re prepared for whatever the Examiner asks you during this portion of the test.

There are a number of things you may be asked during this part of the test, but all of them revolve around parts of your car that you should be familiar with, so there’s no need to feel stressed about this.

For ‘Tell Me Show Me’, you will be asked a question on basic car maintenance and will need to explain to the Examiner how you would check what they ask you. When learning to drive with myself, I will provide you with a letter that outlines and details these questions, among other useful information for your test. I will go through these questions with you, and show you the various components in the engine compartment, and how to raise the bonnet, so you feel prepared and confident for whatever the Examiner asks you during your practical driving test.
