ROAD MARKINGS

When you approach the word ‘SLOW’ painted on the road you will normally see warning triangle right beside it informing you that you are approaching a potential hazard such as a junction, bend, road narrows, roundabout, bridge or some other potential hazard.

The way that you can normally tell when you have passed the potential hazard, is that you will see ‘SLOW’ painted in the road beside the back of the sign informing the oncoming traffic of the potential hazard that they are approaching. But this also informs you that you have now passed that potential hazard.
